The Summer School Sound Recording Programme ran for 5 days in CBS on the Glen Road, Belfast . 11 participants from across West Belfast took part in the project, as well as a local band ‘The Audiables’
The aim of the project was to give young people experience of working in a professional sound recording environment as well as gaining skills using professional music production software and hardware.
Over the week we covered a wide range of music technology based subjects including;
- Using Logic Pro
- Using Microphones
- Setting up recording sessions
- Producing multitrack recordings
- Remixing
