In School Programming

Workshops and Tailored Programmes

Studio ON provides a range of in-school workshops and programmes for young people including film, animation, digital story telling, web-design, games design and music.

Programmes can be tailored to address curricular areas or support cross-curricular learning, particularly at Key Stage 2 and 3.

Partnership Schools

Studio ON operates a partnership programme for primary and post-primary schools in the BELB and SEELB areas. Partnership schools work strategically with Studio ON and benefit from an allocation of support, technical advice and training throughout the academic year.

If your school is interested in the partnership school programme, please contact our Centre Director Meabh McCaffrey-Lau on 028 90449821 or email meabh@studio-on.org.uk.

Teacher Professional Development

Creative Learning Centres Teacher Professional Development Courses

Every year the Creative Learning Centres produce a portfolio of teacher training courses which are delivered across the three centres in response to demand. Courses are designed to explore the benefits of the creative use of multimedia and associated software and will suit everyone from beginner to advanced levels.

All scheduled courses in the Teacher Professional Development Course booklet are free of charge and offered on a first come, first serve basis.

We do try to respond to demand, so if there’s a course you would like which isn’t currently offered by Studio ON, please fill in the ‘Course Interest Form’ at the bottom of this page.

Using ICT Curriculum Support Day

The Using ICT Curriculum Support Day is designed to help schools to address the needs of the new Northern Ireland Curriculum. Studio ON will visit your school and provide staff with tailored multimedia training and advice within the school environment. This training day is a highly effective introduction to the potential use of ICT across a school’s curriculur and ex-curricular programme, and has particular relevance for Key Stage 3.

If you are interested in the Using ICT Curriculum Development Day, please fill in the ‘Course Interest Form’ below.

Tailored Professional Development

Studio ON provides tailored training which can be delivered in-school or at the centre. Tailored training has in the past included all staff training days, departmental training days or twilights, support for accredited course delivery and special project support.
