March is Creativity Month!

“Culture Minister Carál Ní Chuilín has launched Creativity Month – a celebration of creativity and the Creative Industries in the north of Ireland.

A series of events and workshops will take place throughout March on the theme of ‘Creative Connections’. The aim is to stimulate new thinking and new collaborations to help creative people, creative ideas and creative businesses to emerge and flourish”. (Culture NI 2012)

PLAY-CREATE-SHARE with CREATE-IT-NI!

To celebrate DCAL’s Creativity Month in March the three Creative Learning Centres have launched  a new website: Create-IT-NI.

Jump right in with 31 creative ideas to get you playing, creating and sharing. Find the coolest blogs, the best free software, new apps, what to do on world doodle day, robots, podcasts, QR codes, make a card for mothers day and even what to do with a raspberry pie.
