As part of our continuing Teacher Professional Development        Programme, Studio ON, Belfast’s Creative Learning Centre, will be delivering a Digital Summer School which will take place from Monday 17^th to Friday 21^st August 2009.

Our Digital Summer School is targeted at beginner level and offers teachers the chance to learn skills in various basic creative multimedia activities. Primary and Post-Primary teachers from all subject areas are invited to apply.

Places are filled on a first come, first serve basis and we would encourage interested teachers to apply as soon as possible to secure their place. If you have any queries about any aspect of the Digital Summer School, please do not hesitate to contact us at the centre.

Please note: Podcasting and Starting Stop Motion Animation are now full and closed for application. Most other courses only have one or two places left.

If so you could be part of Studio ON’s week long film school this summer!

There will be two themes this year; the famously innovative and revolutionary French New Wave, and the shadowy, hard-boiled grit of Film Noir.

Participants will be able to put their own stamp on either one of these subversive film genres, for one week you will make and break all the rules of filmmaking with the French New Wave as well as paint it black with the dark and brooding world of Noir.

The film school will run from Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd July 2009, from 10am to 5pm @ Studio ON Creative Learning Centre. If you are interested in applying you must be able to get yourself to and from the centre in East Belfast.

The Creative Learning Centres are providing a week-long Summer School from Monday 15th to Friday 19th June 2009. Courses are specifically designed for teachers of Moving Image Arts or teachers interested in developing the subject in their school.
